Lynn Grodzki, LCSW, MCC, (Master Certified Coach) is one of the leading business coaches in the US for small business owners. She specializes in working with change-agents: therapists, coaches, healers, and other consultants who help others make change in their lives.
She is the author of four popular books, all published by W.W. Norton. Her first book, Building Your Ideal Private Practice, is the best-selling book of its genre and has been reviewed as a resource that "should be the bible of any clinician." Her latest book, published in September 2009 is Crisis-Proof Your Practice which focuses on how to develop business resilience and a turnaround business plan in the face of an uncertain economy.
Through her workshops and writing, she has become a pioneer in the field of practice-building, helping non-business-oriented professionals develop businesses that give them a high degree of integrity, personal choice, and financial success.
Lynn is on the faculty of CoachU, a large coach training organization, and sat on the advisory board of Social Work Today Magazine. Her articles on practice-building appear in national magazines and she presents workshops internationally. She writes a monthly email newsletter that goes out monthly to 7000 people.
She received her MSW from the University of Maryland and lives in Silver Spring, MD.
She is a certified personal trainer who designs and conducts vigorous exercise clinics for breast cancer survivors under the auspices of George Washington University Cancer Institute.
